EU Settlement Scheme
30 days left to apply

Deadline of 30 June 2021 for applications to the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) is very close now.
All EU, EEA & Swiss citizens (and their family members) who were resident in the UK by the end of the transition period (31/12/2020) should apply so that they can continue to secure their existing rights in the UK after that date.
It seems yesterday, but 5 years have already passed from when UK voted to leave the EU in 2016, and officially left the EU on 31/01/2020, so new rules have been established for how the UK and EU will live, work and trade together.
Applications are totally free and you can apply on line, to get a "Pre-settled status” -a temporary status for those who have not yet lived in the UK for a continuous 5 year period at any point in the past- or a “Settled status”, which is a permanent one instead.
Failure to receive pre-Settled Status or Settled Status by 30 June 2021 means you will become unlawfully present and will be at risk of losing access to employment and benefits, as well as being subject to other sanctions.
